Liposuction with skin excision and umbilical transposition

This is a 66-year-old woman who requested rejuvenation of her mid-section. She is seen here 6 months after liposuction of the upper/lower abdomen, hips and waist with lower abdominal skin excision and umbilical transposition. The umbilicus is transposed to help tighten upper abdominal skin as well as the lower abdominal skin; much like a tummy tuck, but without muscle repair, no drains and local anesthesia.
