This is a 58-year-old woman who requested rejuvenation of the abdomen. She is seen here 3 months after liposuction of the abdomen, pubis with lower abdominal skin excision. She had a total of 10 pounds of fat removed and another 3 pounds of loose skin removed from the lower abdomen (like a mini-tummy tuck). This is done with a light oral sedation and local tumescent anesthesia, no need for deep IV or general anesthesia; no drains maximizing safety and downtime.
