Breast Reconstruction

Case 6

This is a 47-year-old woman, 5’3” tall & 170 pounds. She had bilateral prophylactic mastectomy in the past. She underwent reconstruction starting with tissue expanders, and then exchange of tissue expanders for 800 ml high profile silicone breast implants followed by nipple creation.

She is seen here 2.5 years after start of her reconstruction. She is pursuing her final stage, which is tattoo of her nipples and areolas. Her scars are pink from recent dog-ear revision, but these will fade to an imperceptible pale color as the months pass.
