Breast Reconstruction

Case 5

This is a woman in her mid-50s who was diagnosed with a right breast cancer. Her right breast is bruised from a biopsy in her preoperative photos. She underwent bilateral mastectomy and reconstruction with tissue expanders. She had exchange of her tissue expanders for smooth, round 350 ml high profile implants. She subsequently had nipple areolar reconstruction with a local skin flap and tattoo.

She is seen here 1.5 years after original mastectomy and tissue expander placement.
